things and stuff

So, I made my first two sales with my artwork. Granted, they were to my dad and my friend Susan who went to Africa with me... but hey, a sale is a sale right?? I am making more and more stuff, and experimenting with different mediums. Honestly, I think the stuff is really cool... and if worse comes to worst..I am just going to decorate our whole apartment with it!

On an uplifting note.... I got a new job!! I am SO excited. It is at a law firm doing paralegal and legal aid stuff, as well as reception. I am totally stoked. It has been hard for me to find a job in this field, because most offices require people for this position to have been to paralegal school and/or have several years of experience. I just got extremely lucky, and I am going to take this opportunity and run with it! Honestly, one of the parts I am most excited about it the dress code. I think I look a LOT better in business attire than my dorky police uniform with the high water pants and collared shirt, but hey, that's just my opinion...

I don't even know if anybody reads this, but oh well, it is fun to write regardless...
